Waterside at Flathead Lake

Waterside at Flathead Lake is a beautiful residential community on the shores of Flathead Lake in Lakeside, Montana.   The community consists of 65 condominium units, ranging in size from two bedroom/two bath to four bedroom/four bath, and includes a 32 slip marina, a central area hosting a spa/hot tub as well as grills and picnic tables, a lake swimming dock and area, exercise room and stunning landscaping.  The luxury units all have patios/decks that face Flathead Lake and garages/carports.

Flathead Lake is known as the largest natural freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River, and has a reputation as being one of the cleanest lakes in the world. The prime reason for the lake’s quality is the pristine watershed surrounding it, composed of Glacier National Park, Great Bear Wilderness Area, Bob Marshall Wilderness Area and Flathead National Forest, which together make up the largest contiguous wilderness area in the lower 48 states. The lake itself is a sportsman’s paradise with boating, fishing, swimming and all manner of watersports enjoyed in a uncrowded, spectacular environment. The Flathead Valley and surrounding mountains offer unlimited hiking, hunting, rafting and other outdoor opportunities. The communities of the valley are also known for their vibrant art scene and live theater and music.

The town of Lakeside has many amenities that are an easy walk from Waterside, including the well-known Tamarack Alehouse and Grill, other great restaurants, grocery store, banks and shops.  For outdoor enthusiasts, in addition to the summertime watersports on the lake, just up the mountain above Lakeside is the Blacktail Mountain Ski Area, and about 30 miles to the north is the town of Whitefish and the Whitefish Mountain Resort.  Kalispell and the Glacier International Airport are approximately 20 miles from Lakeside, and Glacier National Park is just 50 miles away.

The Waterside Condominium Owners Association represents the 65 homeowners at Waterside and manages all of the common areas associated with the development.  This website contains information relevant to the Association including the Declaration of Condominium for Waterside, the Bylaws, Board and Annual Meeting minutes and Board of Directors contacts.  Other information includes boat slip ownership and a password protected community roster for those wishing to participate.
